What to expect:
- You will teach didactically sound content from the field of communication design, focusing on brand development, brand experiences, and future-oriented branding skills.
- You will primarily promote narrative brand design and the strategic-conceptual positioning of companies, institutions and products through their brand identities.
- Inspired by the multi-level requirements of design practice, you will expand your students’ theoretical and practical knowledge of CD, CI and brand design.
- In this context, you will work closely with other faculties and departments to develop and implement projects that combine communication design with other disciplines.
- Last but not least, we value your involvement in our academic self-government.
Your background:
- As a basis, you can demonstrate completion of a university degree in design or a similar discipline.
- You are able to demonstrate a relevant practical portfolio of outstanding quality. Although a doctorate is desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement for recruitment.
- Your professional profile is closely related to design, and you undertake design from an interdisciplinary perspective.
- Thanks to several years of professional experience in a position of responsibility outside academia, you have developed into an individual with an outstanding track record in design.
- Ideally, you have also gained extensive expertise in university teaching and therefore have a wide range of didactic skills.
- In addition to your teaching activi-ties, you will complement and ex-pand the key research areas at our school.
- Experience abroad would also be desirable, as well as good contacts with international universities and institutions.
- You use your good level of written and spoken English with confidence.
