Assistant Professorship (lecturer with specific duties) “Nutritional Medicine” at the Department of Food ∙ Nutrition ∙ Facilities
What to expect:
As part of an assistant professorship, with the support of mentors, you will acquire the necessary conditions to apply for an FH professorship, spending half your time teaching at FH Münster and the other half working in a company.
Your teaching and research will focus on nutrition medicine, anatomy and physiology.
For the practical units, you will use our excellently equipped nutritional medicine laboratory.
You will perform interdisciplinary work, collaborating with colleagues from the Department of Food • Nutrition • Facilities.
Last but not least, you will develop online teaching arrangements in teaching and continuing education in the field of nutritional medicine.
By delivering courses in English, you will support the university’s internationalisation strategy.
Your expertise is based on a university degree in human medicine, nutritional science or ecotrophology, or related sciences, ideally focusing on nutritional medicine, as well as a doctorate completed with outstanding success (at least “magna cum laude”).
You are able to deliver courses in both German (comparable to level C1) and English.
You already have at least two years’ experience working in a higher education institution, e.g. as an academic staff member.

We offer you salaried employment as a lecturer with specific duties for a fixed term of three years, with remuneration over and above the standard salary up to pay scale E 14 (TV-L), dependent on your personal qualifications and professional experience.
