WHAT TO EXPECT
You will teach in the Department of Food · Nutrition · Facilities (Bachelor and Master) with a focus on nutritional sciences in research and practice.
You will be responsible for the supervision of the IT suite and the Nutritional Status and Nutritional Therapy Lab, including expert advice on the nutritional software used (Prodi, Ebis).
You will independently supervise laboratory classes related to nutritional surveys, nutritional status and target group nutrition (children, seniors, etc.).
As we continue to expand our course offerings and drive continuous process improvement, we are counting on your support.
You will be committed to providing support and advice to students.
You will also supervise projects and Bachelor’s and Master’s theses independently.
YOUR BACKGROUND
You have a degree (Master’s, university Diplom) in Nutrition and Home Economics or Nutritional Sciences.
You also have several (at least two) years of practical experience in the area of nutritional sciences.
A sound knowledge of or strong interest in applied research in nutritional sciences is required.
You are keen to help us advance the Centre for Nutrition and Therapy and are willing to make a commitment to NuT.
A good command of written and spoken English and a track record of international publications would be a valuable asset.
You enjoy conveying knowledge and getting young people excited about your subject area.
WE OFFER YOU
You can look forward a permanent lecturing position with 12 hours of teaching per week per semester (50%), ideally starting on 1 May 2025 or earlier.
For this responsible assignment, we offer you remuneration over and above the standard salary up to pay scale (TV-L) 12 or 13, dependent on your personal qualifications and professional experience.
