Research/Teaching Assistant (f/m/d)
for Continuing Education in the Field of Catering
at the Institute of Sustainable Nutrition
(50%, Münster, for a fixed term until 31 December 2023)
What to expect
- You will be involved in the creation and implementation of a concept for the roll-out of project results.
- You will be responsible for coaching a wide range of stakeholders in the area of out-of-home catering on various topics related to sustainable management in catering outlets and at institutions.
- You will also support the team in expanding a knowledge database for our target group.
- You will help the team to disseminate and present the project findings via a number of different educational programmes and events.
- Your duties will also include administrative tasks and the preparation of the project report.
Your background
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Home Economics or Teacher Training at Vocational Colleges, or a comparable qualification.
- You also have relevant knowledge of the implementation of (continuing) education modules.
- Training in the catering/food industry would be beneficial.
- You are interested in the issues of sustainability and the transformation of food systems.
- The successful candidate is required to have an excellent command of written and spoken German, strong communication skills, flexibility, the ability to work independently, and a good knowledge of MS Office programmes and social media.
We offer you
- For this interesting, varied and challenging position, you will receive remuneration according to pay scale 11 TV-L (Public Sector Collective Agreement for the Federal States).
- This part-time position (50%) is available immediately and is initially for a fixed term until 31 December 2023. There is a prospect of continued employment, subject to final funding approval.
- The place of work is Münster. Home working is possible to a certain extent. We expect you to be willing to travel to our project partners for in-house training.
