You will teach on our bachelor’s and master’s programmes at the Department of Social Work.
Your teaching and research activities will ideally focus on the topics of the history and discipline of social work.
You will enjoy contributing your professional and academic expertise to the management of a dual, practice-integrated degree programme focusing on child and youth welfare.
You will also contribute to self-government at the department and to the further development of degree programmes, and will be involved in academic continuing education.
It is quite natural for you to deliver courses involving digital technology, also in English, where applicable.
Your expertise is based on a degree in social work or a comparable qualification.
In addition, you completed your doctorate with above-average success.
You have relevant professional experience in social work and are very familiar with organisations that support children and young people.
You are familiar with the historical development of social work in general, preferably with regard to children and young people, and are keen to further expand your knowledge in this area.
Ideally, you have extensive experience in teaching, applying for external funding and collaborating in research projects.
A network of partners from the field rounds off your profile.
A permanent W2 professorship on civil servant conditions will enable you to make a valuable contribution to teaching, research and university management.
You will be able to strike a healthy work-life-family balance.
Our extensive portfolio of professional teaching development will enable you to develop your skills on an ongoing basis.
You can look forward to an exciting challenge as part of our team, with dedicated colleagues to support you from the very beginning.
