at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
What to expect:
- Your in-depth expertise will enable you to represent research and teaching in the subject area of “IT security and security in Operational Technologies (OT) / Internet of Things (IoT) environments”.
- Ideally, you will enhance our Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes with your experience in several of the following areas of application and topics: embedded systems security, automotive security, secure medical IT, secure industrial applications, hardware security modules, security of radio protocols in OT or IoT environments.
- You will also have the opportunity to initiate and supervise interdisciplinary research projects in an attractive working environment.
- You are enthusiastic about contributing to IT security throughout the university.
- Last but not least, your will deliver your courses in German and English, and will play an active role in university self-government.
Your background:
- Your expertise is based on a university degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related discipline, as well as a recognised doctorate.
- In addition, you have gained extensive and relevant professional experience in IT security as well as in security in OT and IoT systems.
- In any case, you enjoy the challenge of issues related to teaching methodology, and ideally have some experience in higher education teaching.
- Expertise and, above all, an interest in the acquisition and implementation of research projects and externally funded projects would also be an asset.
- Your profile is rounded off by the willingness to take on foundation courses in our computer science degree programmes.
