“Statics and Concrete Structures”
at the Department of Civil Engineering
What to expect:
You will teach “Statics and Concrete Structures” on the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at the Department of Civil Engineering and will also take on basic training responsibilities, such as the course in “Engineering Mechanics”.
Besides your willingness to developing your teaching, you will also be involved in other degree programmes such as “Construction in Existing Contexts”.
You commitment is required in application-oriented research in the area of concrete structures and structural analysis.
Last but not least, you will get involved in university self-government and in organising and delivering continuing education courses.
Your expertise is based on completion of a degree in Civil Engineering focusing on Structural Engineering, and a recognised doctorate.
Your professional history also includes several years of extensive professional experience in support structure planning in structural engineering, specialising in concrete structures, reinforced concrete structures and prestressed concrete structures.
We rely on your experience with computer-based methods in concrete structures when it comes to scientific and practical application.
Ideally, you have experience in university teaching, and are willing to support the university’s internationalisation process by delivering courses in English.
